Pendel Forest 10TT. (Levens)

Having heard a lot of good things about how fast courses in England were in relation to our courses here in Scotland i was really looking forward to the trip down to Levens.
Levens is the course the current British record for 10TT was set on. A nice half to three quarter mile down hill start with an almost perfectly flat remaining 9 miles or so.
Perparation was not the best for this event, a bit last minute. Arivving in enough time however to ride two laps of the course which doubled as a warm-up ensured i at least knew the course.
You would think with a down hill start it would be a bit easier, not so at 40+ mph its pretty windy. Anyway race completed and a time of 18:12, food for thought on the road home for myself & Stevie wunder.
