Decembers Training.

I started December with a recovery week which seemed to last a life time. The weather was as you'd expect so that made things a little easier to handle. The weather for the rest of the month was not to bad all things considered. Very cold at times but this can be quite nice. Myself & Ben Thompson managed to ride the Glenuig loop during the month, virtually unheard of at this time of year. (this is the Chris Sidwells report on the same ride we did during the summer)

Having made it through Christmas & now New Year, all be it over fed and over weight, I'm looking forward to January and a 2008 to see what it brings.
All the best to everyone for the coming season.

There but for the grace of God go any of us, on these roads nowadays. A very sad loss. My sincere condolences to friends and family for the loss of Jason.

Condolences to Jason's family, friends and the cycling fraternity in Scotland. He was a brilliant, dedicated cyclist and, as such, is a great loss to sport.

A tragic loss, so very sad. Deepest sympathies to all the family and close friends.

Very sad news and a terrible loss to cycling. Our thoughts go out to his young family. Living on the A82 and cyclists ourselves, we are only too aware of the dangers of this terrible road. When will something be done to safeguard vulnerable cyclists?

A young talented man who was at the prime of his life and who will be sadly missed by all.

RIP Jason

The most sincere condolences to you and your daughters from a fan of your husband and of cyclism. I hope you somehow find the strength to carry on in this difficult time.

Such a terrible loss. The name "Jason Macintyre" was the name most riders feared to see on any start sheet of any road race due to his great talent let alone read in the news for such a tragic death. My condolences to all his family and friends.

Such terrible news, I feel awful for your wife and children - such a senseless waste of a great talent and a family man. I am so sorry.

R.I.P Jason
